Isn’t $2,400 For a Single Serve Coffee Maker a Bit Much?

Barron’s Magazine Jay Palmer reviews the Jura-Capresso’s Impressa S9 One-Touch coffee maker which (he claims) makes almost the perfect cup of coffee. It carries a price tag of $2400.

I do not have super duper Capresso Impressa to compare with but I doubt very much that Mr. Palmer could tell the difference between the coffee made with the Impressa and a cup made with the Tassimo - and even if he could that it was $2,3000 better?
